What We Are About

Our mission is to make DC/VA/MD a better place for technology-intensive companies by helping each other as leaders and by sharing practical technical knowledge. We encourage candid, open and trustworthy communication and networking through our monthly breakfast meetings and private online forums. By joining leaders from different backgrounds together and sharing our strengths, we’re creating an environment of innovation and support for DC’s vibrant technology scene.

Members

Since 2017 more than 100 DC-area CTOs and VP of Engineering have joined the club, including Senior leaders from companies such as Capital One, AWS, Microsoft, Bloomberg IG, Appian, OneMain Financial, EAB, Cotiviti, Life360, FINRA CAT, NIAID (NIH), and more. To qualify you need to be working full time in a senior technical leadership role (typically CTO or VP of Engineering) with at least 10 engineers reporting to you at a software product company.

Cost

The cost of membership is participation. We ask that you attend at least 3 events a year in person, participate/contribute in the online community, and present to the group yourself at least once. The breakfasts and other events are paid for by our sponsors.

We are one of many global CTO Clubs, also located in New York, San Francisco, Seattle, Boston, Los Angeles, Chicago, Berlin, Melbourne and other cities, reaching thousands of CTOs around the world.
